this family loves to travel! so when the world shut down in 2020, they were ready to update the '80s home she grew up in. Yep, she bought her parents' house, and they built a new one. they love to cook, listen to music, drink great wine, collect art, and most of all, be together as a family. loving this outdated home back to life started with a tile they fell in love with at a hotel in new orleans. From there, every space found its purpose: a beautiful, well-designed kitchen; a music room for evening cocktails and music; a bath made for a nightly ritual; a spot where puzzles can be left out, ready to play; and a cozy couch for homework while dinner happens in the kitchen. this whole relationship began because she was my amazing yoga teacher. One day we started our meeting with yoga in her empty living room. such a great project.
