well-built homes outlast the people who build them, so I love designing with the next generation in mind. built in 1947, this home called for rethinking every room. form follows function — though I prefer to say truth leads to love. It starts with honest questions: how do we really live, day to day? do we entertain, and how? what inspires us, and what refreshes us? this is one of the most exciting parts of design: breathing new life into an older home, making it current while honoring all the charm and character of the original.
